Adventure awaits students in grades 1 to 6 this spring break! Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center will host one-day camps from April 15–19 and April 22, 2019, so students can get outside and explore nature. Spring Adventure Days are free to MPS students.
Spring adventure days encourage exploration and inquiry through outdoor play, games, crafts, and more! Daily themes include animals, water, sports, and crafts. Families need to provide transportation to and from the location. Students should bring a bag lunch and dress appropriately for outdoor activities.
Check each day’s program description for location. Spring Adventure Days are held at three sites.
- Riverside Park Urban Ecology Center, 1500 E. Park Place, Milwaukee, WI 53211
- Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center, 3700 W. Pierce St., Milwaukee, WI 53215
- Washington Park Urban Ecology Center, 1859 N. 40th St., Milwaukee, WI 53208
Priority registration will be given to students enrolled in MPS. Space is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis as completed forms are received.
Spring Adventure Days are made possible by a partnership between the Urban Ecology Center and the MPS Department of Extended Learning Opportunities.
Program descriptions and enrollment packets are available on the MPS website at http://mps.milwaukee.k12.wi.us/en/Programs/ExtendedLearningOpportunities/Enrichment-Camps-.htm
