The mission of Pupil Transportation is to provide SAFE, RELIABLE, RESPONSIVE, and EFFICIENT transportation services, with STUDENTS as our central focus.

Pupil Transportation contributes to achieving the objects of the district by:

1. Providing home-to-school transportation services for approximately 51,000 students every school day. Over 18 million miles are driven annually.
2. Creating opportunities for students to attend their school of choice, and enabling them to participate in all school activities and programs.
3. Responding to students and parents with a flexible transportation system that accommodates multiple and varied needs within the published policies and guidelines.
4. Directing more money to the classroom by aggressively managing the transportation system to reduce cost.
